Here it is, by popular demand, the original Double Murder Suicide album - warts and all, embarrassing Pink and AC/DC interpolations intact. But for every super cringey moment, there's something I really like on this album too.

All the songs were recorded in the months immediately after the Chris Benoit tragedy in June 2007 and was completed by November/December of that year. It was all recorded in Lacy and I's first apartment - a single-bedroom in University Heights. I used my Macbook's internal mic, an electric guitar, a Casio keyboard, and an amp.

The clips were recorded by holding my computer up to a television that was usually playing a wrestling DVD via a Playstation 2. (The clip from Journey's "Too Late" was 100% luck as the video was playing on the TV, most likely on VH1 Classic, while I was recording a song and I opted to record it too.) On future albums, I'd realize that it was much easier to record clips from YouTube or Dailymotion.

The cover art was made on MS Paint.

The unreleased tracks were bonus songs I put onto the CDs that I sent out to friends, with some CDs containing all 3 bonus tracks, some only 1, and some just 2. "I'm Carlito" was a re-recording of a song that I wrote and performed with Jon Lyons in our college band knifey spooney. "Food Poisoning" is an instrumental that I recorded when I wasn't feeling well. "Why'd You Call Me Yesterday?" was just a silly Hank Williams-inspired song.
